Following the program’s success and considering the ongoing need for remote health programs during the pandemic, the FCC has announced Round 2, which provides an additional $249.95 million.

There are steps you can take immediately to prepare to apply for the Round 2 Program:

Obtain an eligibility determination from the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC). If you do not already have an eligibility determination for USAC, you can file an FCC Form 460 (Eligibility and Registration Form) with USAC for Round 2 of the program. Obtain an FCC Registration Number (FRN). An FRN is required to do business with the Commission. Register for an FRN in the Commission Registration System (CORES) here: https://apps.fcc.gov/cores/userLogin.do

Register with System for Award Management (SAM). You must register with SAM to receive payment through the Program. This step is not required to apply for the Telehealth Program, but it is best to start the process early. Register with SAM here: https://www.sam.gov/SAM/
